Crew Management Maximizing Efficiency and Safety on Board

Abosta Shipmanagement Corporation was established in the Philippines on October 10, 1996, initially catering to the crew requirements of M/T C. Bright (VLCC) and M/V K. Prime (PCC). Its Board of Directors comprises of Filipino and Korean nationals, working together to supply competent Filipino seafarers to Korean shipowners through Panstar Shipping Co. Ltd. The company’s Chairman and President, Capt. Gaudencio C. Morales, has been leading the company since its inception.

Over the years, Abosta’s growth and expansion have led to its transfer to several offices. In June 2010, the company relocated to its permanent office at the 8th Floor of Jemarsons Place, 1626 Pilar Hidalgo Lim St., in Malate, Manila.

As of April 2024, Abosta deploys a total of one thousand six hundred ninety four (1,694) crew on eighty four (84) vessels of various types, such as log/bulk carriers, handy size bulk carrier, very large crude carriers (VLCC), LPG carrier, LNG carrier, pure car carrier (PCC), and container ships.
